Research Notes on Deep Vein Thrombosis Symptoms

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) are blood clots in the veins of the legs. Most common symptoms of DVT are swelling on one or both legs, tenderness, pain, and redness or discolored skin in the affected leg. Venography is one of the diagnostic tests used to determine DVT, a doctor injects a radiopaque dye into your veins and if there are blood clots, it will be clearly seen on an x-ray film.
