Research Notes on Dead Sea Salts
Dead Sea salts have been long touted as being beneficial in the treatment of psoriasis. Recent studies on patients who were treated with Dead Sea salts found that the majority of the symptoms were alleviated within the first week of treatment. Continued improvement was seen in the following weeks.1
Fast Facts:
- Dead Sea salt is not edible, unlike regular table salt.2
- Dead Sea salt is much richer in minerals than regular sea salt.2
- In another study, Dead Sea salt was found to have therapeutic benefits in rheumatic patients suffering from osteoarthritis or a localized type of tendonitis.3
