David Crosby is a guitarist and singer-songwriter and is currently a member of Crosby, Stills & Nash. David has been through many challenges in his life that include alcoholism, drug addiction, and hepatitis C. In 1995, he received a liver transplant due to complications from hepatitis C and cirrhosis. He also has diabetes type 1, insulin-dependent. In January of 2000, he announced he is the biological father of rock star Melissa Etheridge's two children, conceived by artificial insemination.
