Research Notes on Dactinomycin
Dactinomycin (also known as actinomycin) is an older chemotherapy drug which is used to treat gestational trophoblastic neoplasia, Wilms' tumor, and rhabdomyosarcoma.1 It comes as a yellow fluid that is administered via intravenous injection.2 Side effects inlcude nausea and vomiting, hair loss, and a lowered resistance to infection.2
