Research Notes on Craniocynostosis
Craniosynostosis is a condition in which the connections that separate a baby's skull at birth (cranial sutures) close pre-maturely. This leads to a head that is abnormally shaped. Since the brain is unable to expand and develop correcty; developmental delays mental retardation, siezures and blindness can occur.
