  • Cradle cap most commonly begins in the first three months.
  • The rash is often prominent around the ear, the eyebrows or the eyelids.
  • Common treatment for cradle cap of the scalp, is applying either vegetable or mineral oil liberally to the scalp and letting it soak overnight. The softened scales can be brushed away with a soft brush, comb or cloth.
