According to statistics, of the 300 million people in the United States, roughly 15% are not covered by health insurance. Universal health care has been an issue that politicians have been trying to implement for years. The cost of universal health care has always been the biggest loophole. According to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences, the United States is the only wealthy, industrialized nation that does not provide universal health care.
