Research Notes on Cortical Cataract
Cortical cataracts are the most commonly seen cataracts in diabetics.1 They form at the outer rim of the lens and gradually extend spokes towards the center of the lens.
Fast Facts:
- Looks somewhat like the spokes on a wheel.
- Can cause glare, especially during night driving.2
- Patients may suffer from monocular diplopia (double vision in one eye).3
