Research Notes on Cor Pulmonale Symptoms
The most common symptoms of cor pulmonale involve chest pain and shortness of breath. Because cor pulmonale is typically caused by lung conditions, symptoms of the underlying condition, such as coughing or wheezing, are also usually present. Patients with cor pulmonale may also experience swelling of the feet and ankles.1
