Contact lenses are now made that can actually help correct a person's vision. Orthokeratology involves a new type of lens used for the treatment of myopia. This lens is worn during the night and it helps reshape the corneas while you sleep. Although temporary, this new innovation is being received well by individuals who prefer not to wear lenses during the day, for example when playing sports, and still have excellent visual acuity.
