Research Notes on Congestive Heart Failure Warning Signs
Warning signs of congestive heart failure include shortness of breath, coughing, fatigue, swelling in the ankles, feet, legs, and sometimes the abdomen, weight gain, frequent urination, and limitations on physical activity.1 An irregular heartbeat and difficulty concentrating can also be warning signs of congestive heart failure. This condition typically progresses slowly over a long period of time.2
