Research Notes on Congestive Heart Failure Prevention
Congestive heart failure (CHF) is when the heart weakens and is unable to efficiently provide the needed blood throughout the body. The key to reducing the chance of developing this condition is through treatment of problems that can cause CHF. Causes of CHF include diabetes, hypertension, certain thyroid disorders, heart arrhythmias and various other heart problems.1
