Conditions helped by light therapy are not limited to seasonal affective disorder, although it most certainly does help SAD.1 There is evidence that light therapy is helpful in treating bipolar disorder and postpartum depression.2 Skin conditions such as psoriasis can be helped by light therapy.3

- Light therapy boxes are not covered by insurance.4
- Delayed sleep phase syndrome, and it's opposite, advanced sleep phase syndrome, both of which are a circadian rhythm sleep disorder can be helped by use of light boxes.5
- Jet lag can be helped by the use of light therapy.6
