Circumcision is the removal of some or all of the foreskin (prepuce) from the penis. Neonatal circumcision advocates claim circumcision provides important health advantages which outweigh the risks, has no substantial effects on sexual function, has a complication rate of less than 0.5% when carried out by an experienced physician, and is best performed on newborns. ...read more from Wikipedia

- The rate of problems from circumcision are low. The most common problems from circumcision are bleeding and infection.
- Possible benefits of circumcision include a lower risk of urinary tract infections, penile cancer and sexually transmitted diseases.
