Research Notes on Cilostazol Side Effects
Cilostazol side effects may include diarrhea, headache, and nausea. More serious side effects may include chest pain, swelling in the legs or ankles, blood in the urine, and black or tarry stools. If any of these more serious side effects are noted you should inform your health care provider as soon as possible.1

- Cilostazol is sold under the brand name Pletal and is used in the treatment of intermittent claudication.2
- Cilostazol should not be taken by those with congestive heart failure as it may make this condition worse.3
- Interactions may occur when used with warfarin, clopidogrel, diltiazem, and certain antidepressants.4
