Cholesterol and Cinnamon

This WisdomCard managed by: Nicole Kinsey

In 2003, a study found that cinnamon decreased low-density lipoprotein levels in people with diabetes. However, in 2006, another study found that cinnamon had no effect on cholesterol levels. The first research that was done involved only a small population, making its results inconclusive. Until a more comprehensive scientific research is done, cinnamon cannot be concluded to lower cholesterol levels.
