Research Notes on Child Health Policy
On September 8, 2000, a total of 189 countries, adopted the United Nations Millennium Declaration, recognizing that they "have a duty to all the world's people, especially the most vulnerable and in particular the children of the world, to whom the furture belongs". A national child health policy is an important instrument for setting clear long-term directions for protecting and promoting the health of children.
