Chemical warfare is tactical warfare characterized by the use of toxic chemicals to kill or incapacitate an enemy. Chemical warfare agents (CWA) are toxic chemical substances that may be in solid, liquid or gas form. Some types of CWA are mustard, cyanide, and nerve and choking agents.
