Research Notes on Cervical Dysplasia
Cervical Dysplasia is the abnormal growth of cells on the surface of the cervix or it's canal. It is a pre-cancerous condition, but not cancer itself. These abnormal cells are discovered during a routine pap smear. Cervical Dysplasia can be mild, moderate, or severe. In mild dysplasia, about 70% of these cases will resolve on their own.
