The nation's largest cereal maker, Kellogg Co., is making controversial claims that their popular cereal, Krispies, boosts children's immune systems. Kellogg responds to critics by saying that increased vitamins means the cereals promote good health.1 The food maker said Wednesday that given the public attention to swine flu, it has decided to phase out the message from its packages.2
