Cephalosporin is a type of antibiotic that kills bacteria and prevents its growth.1 Cephalosporin is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections throughout the body. Cephalosporin may be used to treat infections such as bronchitis, tonsillitis, pneumonia, strep throat and staph infections.2
