In 2003, it was estimated that 700 million people were using cell phones. There has since been increased concern that the use of cellular devices is raising the risk of health hazards, such as brain cancer. The problem lies in the fact that cell phones emit a form of electromagnetic energy called RF, or radio frequencies. It is said that long exposure to RF can cause brain tumors.
