Those who suffer from catotrophobia may often fear that looking at a mirror will put them in contact with the supernatural or that looking into a mirror will cause it to break, giving them bad luck.1 Some common symptoms of catoptrophobia include shortness of breath, anxiety, and heart palpitations.2
