Research Notes on Catholic Healthcare West
Catholic Healthcare West was founded in 1986, as a non-profit health care organization. They now run forty-two hospitals in three states: California, Nevada, Arizona. The corporation has three levels of management. The Corporate Members are the highest level of management, and appoint the members of the Board of Directors. The Corporate Members are religious women, one from each of the religious orders that co-sponsor CHW.
