Gastrointestinal cancer refers to cancer of the gastrointestinal tract, including the esophagus, stomach, liver, biliary system, pancreas, bowels, and anus. It includes: intestinal cancer (also called small intestine cancer, duodenal cancer, ileal cancer, or jejunal cancer), gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), esophageal cancer, stomach cancer (also called gastric cancer), liver cancer, gallbladder cancer, bile duct cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer (also called colon cancer, bowel cancer, or rectal cancer), and anal cancer.
