Catapres is a brand name for the drug clonidine. It is a blood pressure medication which can be used in treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The exact mechanism of the drug in ADHD treatment is yet unknown. However, it has been proven effective in calming specific areas of the brain.
