Carrie Fisher is an actress, screenwriter and novelist who is most famous for her portrayal as Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy. She has publicly discussed her problems with drugs, bipolar disorder, and addiction. During the 1970's she began using cocaine and, in 1985, suffered a drug overdose, which resulted in her first admittance to rehab.
