Research Notes on Cancer Screening for Men
Cancer screening in men is important to detect certain cancers at its early stages, especially for those who are at high-risk for developing malignancies. Prostate cancer, being the most common cancer in men in the United States, can be screened through prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test and digital rectal examination (DRE). This should be done annually, especially for men above the age of 50.
