Research Notes on Cabbage
Cabbage is a great source of Vitamin C and glutamine, which have anti-inflammatory properties.1 The outer leafs of cabbage are high in vitamin E, which is good for the skin. Raw cabbage improves digestion and cleans waste from the stomach and upper bowels.2 Cabbage can also prevent certain types of cancer.
