Research Notes on CTC Chip
The CTC (Circulating Tumor Cells) Chip is a unique technology which examines circulating tumor cells in cancer patients to determine the best chemotherapy regimine.1 Researchers have identified CTCs in lung, pancreatic, prostate, breast and colon cancers.1 The chip is approximately the size of a business card and has 80,000 posts smeared with an antibody "glue" to capture tumor cells.2
