Research Notes on COPD and Marijuana
Short term marijuana use has been associated with bronchodilation, and long term marijuana use associated with increased respiratory symptoms that are suggestive of obstructive lung disease.1 Marijuana use by cigarette smokers has been shown to worsen breathing problems in COPD patients.2
