Research Notes on Bulimia
Bulimia nervosa is an eating disorder. It is characterized by sessions of food binges, commonly followed by purging the calories through laxative/diuretic use, excessive exercise, or self-induced vomiting. Most bulimia sufferers are normal weight or overweight due to the disorder centering around the practice of binge eating.1
