Bronchodilators are used to reduce inflammation by relaxing the bronchial tube muscles and allow increased airflow. They can be inhaled by the use of a nebulizer, or taken orally. Anti-inflammatory medications such as Prednisone can also be used to help reduce swelling of the airway tissue.
