Brompheniramine is available over the counter and indicated for the prevention of the symptoms of the common cold and allergic rhinitis, such as runny nose, itchy eyes, watery eyes, and sneezing. Overdose of brompheniramine appears when taking large amount dose and it cause extreme drowsiness, weakness, ringinging the ears, fever and possibly seizures. If treatment is received within 8 hours of the overdose, there is a very good chance of recovery.
