Breast Reduction Complications

GuideWisdom™

This WisdomCard managed by: Amy Sandhu

Some complications associated with breast reduction surgery are bleeding, infection, and anesthesia complications. There may also be temporary bruising and swelling; permanent scarring (which can often be hidden by a bra or bathing suit); loss of nipple sensation; and inhibition or compromise of the ability to breast feed. These possible complications should be discussed with your doctor prior to surgery.
