Research Notes on Breast Implants
Breast implants, also known as breast augmentation or augmentation mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure in which saline or silicone implants are placed either under the pectoral muscle, or directly behind the breast tissue, creating a larger fuller looking breast. If you are considering a breast implant, be sure to check out the doctors credentials. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only board dedicated to plastic surgery of the face and the entire body.
