A brain biopsy can be used to diagnose Alzheimer's disease, tumors, infection, inflammation and other Alzheimer's brain disorders.1 Brain biospies are invasive and includes risks associated with anesthesia and surgery. Brain injury could occur due to removal of brain tissue.2
