Research Notes on Bone Sarcoma
The main type of cancers that are true bone cancers -- rather than cancer that has spread from other parts of the body -- are called sarcomas. Osteosarcoma (or osteogenic sarcoma) is a cancerous tumor of the bone itself, and it is the most common primary bone cancer.
