Blood disorders are mostly disorders or diseases happening to any of the main three blood cells or the chemical content of plasma that may adversely affect the clotting process.
Fast Facts:
- Blood makes up about 7% of your body's weight. There are four main blood types: A, B, AB, and O.
- Some types of blood disorders include anemia, hemophilia, leukemia, and thrombosis.
- Symptoms of blood disorders can be vague. With anemia, fatigue and weakness can be a sign. Blood that is too thick can cause shortness of breath, headaches, dizziness, and confusion.
