Research Notes on Blepharoplasty
Surgery of the eyelid for functional or cosmetic purposes is called blepharoplasty. This procedure is aimed at removing or repositiong excess tissue to reshape the eyelids. Upper eyelid blepharoplasty is commonly done for patients whose upper eyelid skin hangs over the lashes causing a decrease in peripheral vision.
