Research Notes on Black Beans
Black beans are high in fiber, protein, molybdenum, folate, manganese, magnesium, vitamin B1 (thiamin), phosphorus and iron. Black beans can help lower cholesterol, reducing the risk of heart disease, and are an especially good choice for individuals with diabetes, insulin resistance or hypoglycemia.
