A bipolar II mood chart is used to track the illness, treatment, and other factors to assist in better illness management.1 Charting moods can reveal a pattern such as medication change, dosage or other factors that may have gone unnoticed.1 When used routinely and consistently, the chart may be able to predict phases of the illness.1 Stressors can be identified and addressed before symptoms exacerbate.1
