Biological therapy (also known as biotherapy, immunotherapy, or biological response modifier therapy) is a form of treatment that uses portions of the body's natural immune system to fight cancer and other diseases.

- Biological therapies are designed to boost the immune system
- Some side effects may include flu like symptoms, fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite and fatigue
- Therapy can also cause fatigue and bone pain and may affect blood pressure and the heart
