Research Notes on Being Single Raises Alzheimer's Risk
A new study shows that being married or having a live-in partner halves the risk of developing dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Over 1,400 people were observed for this study over an average of 21 years. 48 of the participants developed Alzheimer's disease and 139 had some sort of cognitive impairment.
