Bacteria such as salmonella, campylobacter, and e coli are the usual causes of Bacterial Gastroenteritis. A person can get infected by eating raw foods such as meat, chicken, dairy products, eggs, and seafood. This type of gastroenteritis only accounts for a small portion of gastro cases. The most common is viral gastroenteritis.
