Research Notes on Back Pain and Weight Training


Weight training may ease common back pain. A study published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, showed people who trained with weights had a sixty percent improvement in pain and function.1 Some of the weight training exercises to ease back pain include leg press, leg curl, bench press, shoulder press, and abdominal crunch.2 When weight training use less weight but do more repetitions.
