Research Notes on Baby and Air Travel
Traveling with a baby is relatively safe, though some physicians advise against air travel during the first two weeks of life. Remember to put your baby in a rear facing child safety seat during flight, and bring along bottles, pacifiers, and age appropriate toys.1 Remember that air pressure changes can cause ear pain in your baby.
