The American Academy of Pediatrics highly recommends breast feeding for infants. When breastfeeding is not possible, infant formulas are an alternative. However, some of these formulas may contain foreign protein, which can act as allergens that can trigger allergic reactions, such as vomiting, diarrhea, and rash.
