Azathioprine, an immunosuppressant, is used to treat multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, pemphigus, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis. It is also used in organ transplantation. Azathioprine is marketed under the brand names Azasan and Imuran.
