With one in 166 children diagnosed with autism today, more colleges are recognizing a need to accommodate students with autism spectrum disorders, such as Asperger's syndrome. Some of these schools include Marshall University in West Virginia, Midwestern State University in Texas, and Madison Area Technical College in Wisconsin. These colleges and others like them are offering support programs to help students with autism spectrum disorders tackle the challenges of college life.
